3MonkeyArt is a dream and a passion. Our tag line of "See More Do More" can apply to art, life, family, or whatever makes someone feel complete. Art does that for us and our goal is to make, design, and create pieces that the person who buys our art will love and enjoy for years to come. Whether that's a painting, a piece of jewelry, or other creations... or whether it was created by DeLyMa, RodneyP or another artist who is represented by 3MonkeyArt, we hope we can inspire you and make you smile. 

Our story is a simple one, we started 3MonkeyArt as a second career. DeLyMa worked for over 20 years as a registered nurse in ERs and ICUs. RodneyP was a professional painter making people's homes and businesses look amazing. This journey started in Florida where we met some amazing young artists, seasoned artists, and residents of Clearwater. We hosted fun events and art contests to highlight the talent of so many people including an emmy winning artist. I'd drop some names but that would spoil the fun of future blog posts...

One thing I will say is that we delivered some advice to several young artists that I've heard since then that it served them well. That is... don't be discouraged if your piece hasn't sold yet. There is a piece of art for every buyer, and there IS a buyer for every piece of art. It's just a matter of finding the right match.

After leaving Florida, and moving around a bit, I came home to Indiana to help take care of my mother in her twilight of life. My experiences as a nurse, and life experiences such as a devastating fire, a couple of hurricanes, and a flood, losing family members heavily influence my art. More about that in the future.

In our next few blogs we are going to highlight our artists individually, who they are, their art, their dreams, their passions in life. When you get to know the artists who create your art, it makes it more personal. You'll meet Max too (teaser, you're gonna fall in love with him).
